足通谷穴：Acupuncure point BL66

足通谷穴（あしつうこくけつ）は足の太陽膀胱経に属す第66番目の経穴で、同経の滎水穴。
”Foot Connecting Valley” is the 66th point in the Bladder channel, also recognized as “Ying spring and water point” in the Bladder channel.

頭がすっきりする clear the head
肺の氣の上逆を収める　descends Lung Qi
胃の氣の上逆を収める　descends Stomach Qi
胃の氣の上逆による咳嗽、胸満、食後の嘔吐　Coughing, fullness of the chest and vomiting after food because of rebellious Stomach Qi
眩暈と眼の充血　Visual dizziness and redness of the eye

身体の下にあるツボで、身体の上の症状を緩和する効果があるということです。
上から下に降りてくるべき氣の流れが逆に上がってしまうことによる症状が列挙されています。
気の流れを正しく収めることにより、頭、肺、胃、眼などの状態を改善することができます。

BL66 is a great point for settling the stomach. We didn’t realise how great until one of our own therapists had an issue with vomiting straight after eating. We got a good feeling about this point and acupunctured it then stuck press needles on it. She stopped having the issue.
